In August, I became NCRA’s President in Nashville where I was surrounded by loved ones and embraced by professional colleagues. I was treated to a week of warm congratulations, hugs, and tremendous support. NCRA is strong. People feel wrapped in enthusiasm and positivity. I am glad. I am honored to serve and touched by the affirmation by my peers.
My family is happy, healthy, and successful. My husband’s magnum opus is complete. Ed’s StenoPro is an astounding compilation of Ed’s great writing ideas. I’m proud of my husband. My son Rob graduated from VA Tech with an aerospace degree and is (yay!) gainfully employed. My son Andrew is enrolled at UMass Boston working towards a physician’s assistant degree. My daughter Ellie is crazy busy like her mother, working three jobs and ungodly hours. I’m proud of my children.
At the office, Rob Deziel joined The Varallo Group as our Executive Director. Danielle and Nicole have reached their one-year anniversary with TVG. I’m hoping you got to meet Lynda, Leah, and Jackie in Nashville. If not, you can check out their photos in The JCR. I think they were the best Bond girls at the Saturday night party! Our staff has stretched and succeeded in their positions this year. Our clients are busy growing and developing new business. The Varallo Group and our clients are flourishing.
My beloved Red Sox won the World Series, and Tom Brady is headed for another winning season with the Patriots. It doesn’t get any better than this. It’s been a great year. Thanks to each of you for helping to make it so. My toast on New Year’s Eve will include you: Here’s to success, health, happiness, and love. I’m looking forward to a wonderful 2014.
