Our Founder

Nancy Varallo, RDR, CRR, began her court reporting career as a freelancer in 1979. In 2001, she founded The Varallo Group, bringing her entrepreneurial vision to life with a unique suite of services.

The Varallo name has been synonymous with excellence in court reporting since 1937, and Nancy continues this proud tradition. As a court reporter, educator, and business owner, she upholds her company’s commitment to quality, service, and accountability. 

Nancy has been recognized with the Distinguished Service Award from the National Court Reporting Association (NCRA) in 2017 and served as NCRA President in 2013-2014. She is a Fellow of the National Academy of Professional Reporters and a past president of the Massachusetts Court Reporters Association.
